The organisation has its headquarters in Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, and a branch in Split.
Ljudska univerza, Zavod za izobraževanje odraslih in mladine Lendava (Adult Education Centre Lendava)
Ljudska univerza, Zavod za izobraževanje odraslih in mladine Lendava (Adult Education Centre Lendava) is an adult education institution founded in 1959 by the Municipality of Lendava, Slovenia. Over the years, AEC Lendava has developed from a classical school for adults into a modern centre for lifelong learning and has become one of the leading adult education institutions in Slovenia. AEC is implementing various social and empowerment programmes for vulnerable groups, raising awareness among our citizens about the importance of participation and inclusion of individuals with fewer opportunities in the wider community.
Welcome Home International is an NGO that was founded in March 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. WHI seeks innovative methods to support refugees and asylum seekers arriving in our societies, implementing and designing hands-on projects to create inviting environments where newcomers and local community members can acquire the tools and information they need to help integration happen naturally. So far, WHI has had great success filling the need for volunteer activities and events that engage the new arrivals with local community members. WHI works on projects related to refugee and asylum seeker needs such as language acquisition, job seeking and mentoring, the development of soft skills and anything related to integration and inclusion.
Institute for Roma and Minority (Institut für Roma und Minderheiten e. V.) is an organisation established on the premises of the long-lasting and widespread discrimination against Roma throughout Europe. The scope of the work of the Institute is predominantly based on the Roma community characterized by low skills in the labour market, high level of unemployed and low level of involvement in VET and Adult education activities. Through empowerment programs, capacity-building workshops, and mentorship initiatives, it aims to strengthen community voices and foster self-advocacy. The Institute’s headquarter is in Wuppertal, Germany.
